Samsung is going to showcase the Flex Hybrid OLED screen at CES 2023. It can not only be folded, but also removed, thus changing the size of the screen and the aspect ratio. This is reported by Engadget.
The screen with a diagonal of 4.2-inches can be decomposed to a diagonal of 10.5 inches with an aspect ratio of 4:3. In addition, the screen can be stretched to a diagonal of 12.4 inches and an aspect ratio of 16:10. Thus, an ordinary smartphone turns into a tablet.
At CES 2023, the Samsung Flex Slidable Solo screen will also be presented. It can be expanded from 14-inch to 17.3 inch. Another novelty is the Flex Slidable Duet OLED. It will reach a diagonal of 17 inches in the “stretched” state.
