Taiwanese electronics company MSI presented the Pen 2 device at CES 2023. The stylus pencil for touchscreen devices also writes and draws on plain paper, according to The Verge.
This became possible thanks to the mechanism that squeezes the slate out of the tip to the required length. Its design resembles an ordinary stationery pencil with a replaceable rod.
The Pen 2 stylus uses MPP2.6 technology, which is capable of recognizing 4096 degrees of pressure. The fast charging system is designed for 10-hour operation of the gadget after a five-minute power supply from an external source. Feedback tactile communication with the Pen 2 user is provided by vibration.
As for the shortcomings, it is possible to purchase a Pen 2 only with an MSI Creator Z laptop, the price of which is from $3 thousand.
