The Apple Books app offers users audiobooks that voice artificial intelligence. However, so far we are talking about English-language literature, the Guardian reported .

According to the publication, Apple intended to launch this project back in November. But against the background of perturbations in the technological realm, the process slowed down.

Now love novels and fiction are being read by two digital voices — Madison and Jackson. In the future, it is planned to expand the list of genres, non-fiction literature and books on self-development will appear in the assortment. They will be voiced by Helena and Mitchell.

The company notes that “apple” audiobooks read by artificial intelligence are cheaper and more accessible to readers. In addition, the rights of publishers and authors are not violated and they retain the possibility of distributing other versions.

Recall that this year Apple will be obliged to allow the installation of applications from third-party stores on its gadgets.
