China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC) has successfully tested a new mode of transport. It will allow to transport not only cargo, but also passengers at a speed of up to 1000 km per hour. It is reported by Gizmochina.

This system is called the Chinese equivalent of the Hyperloop project from the ubiquitous Elon Musk. Recall that according to his plan, the trains were not supposed to move along the rails, but simply soar in a vacuum tunnel. Despite ambitious plans, Musk failed to fully implement the idea in any country in the world.

CASIC built a test site in the city of Daton. The length of the route is 2 km, and soon the route is going to be extended to 60 km.

Recall that the first hydrogen train FLIRT H2 SBCTA, which will have more than 100 passenger seats, should enter the route in the United States in 2024.
