Gates insists that humanity will not be able to limit the rise in temperature by 1.5 °C compared to the pre-industrial level. Also, Gates is sure, keeping this increase at two degrees is also unlikely.

The billionaire also stressed that nuclear fission and thermonuclear fusion are promising sources of energy that are not dependent on the weather.
