Additional protection appeared in incognito mode in Google Chrome browser on Android devices. It is reported by TechCrunch.

From now on, users will have the opportunity to restrict access to their own incognito sessions using a password or biometrics after the browser has been closed. A similar feature has previously appeared in gadgets running iOS.

You can activate the function as follows: in the Google Chrome settings, go to the Privacy & Security tab and enable the “Lock incognito tabs when you close Chrome” option. This will block the user’s incognito sessions: another person will not get access to the corresponding tabs in the browser. To unlock, you will need to enter a password or confirm biometric data.

Earlier, we reported that Google has released new updates that improve the performance of the Chrome browser. In particular, they will help save memory and save battery power.
