A useful feature appeared in last year’s smartphones from Samsung. From now on, they have the ability to stop charging the battery by powering the device, according to the Sammobile portal.
The function that powers the device bypassing battery charging is called “Pause USB Power Delivery”. Thanks to it, the heating of smartphones used from the network slows down. Not only does the Galaxy S23 have a similar feature, but also the Galaxy S22, Galaxy A73, Galaxy Z Flip4, and Z Fold4.
To activate this feature, the device must be running OneUI 5.0. You also need an up-to-date version of the Game Booster service. You can activate the function from the “Game Booster Settings” section. However, there is one important requirement: more than 20% of the charge must remain on the device.
To recap, South Korean corporation Samsung is abandoning the use of a combination of Exynos and Snapdragon chips in galaxy’s flagship smartphones.
