Own invention — a laptop that will work for two years after a single charge — was presented by enthusiastic developer Andreas Eriksen. To create a unique device, he was inspired by the constant discharge of his own gadget. A low-power PotatoP laptop computer is not powerful, but it does have a beautiful screen and a comfortable keyboard.

This is reported by the Tom’s Hardware portal.

The SparkFun RedBoard Artemis ATP platform with the Ambiq Apollo3 chip was used as the motherboard. Arm Cortex-M4F processor with a clock frequency of up to 96 MHz is installed. RAM is 384 KB and physical memory is 1 MB. The laptop has several ports for connecting external peripherals.

The diagonal of the monochrome screen Sharp Memory in Pixel is 4.4 inches, the resolution is 320×240 pixels. The keyboard selected model Happy Hacking Keyboard Lite 2.

Thanks to a 12000 mAh battery and a small PotatoP solar panel, the device is capable of operating for two years on a single charge, the inventor claims. His plans are to make your computer’s battery life infinite.

Recall that the self-taught designer, known for his outrageous experiments with shoes under the nickname VOID, presented his new work. This time it’s Nike sneakers that have a chainsaw built in.
