Transparent speakers from a Hong Kong startup in the form of a photo frame were presented on the Kickstarter online platform.

An accessory called Focusound has nothing to do with the usual speakers. It is a metal frame with a glass panel. Built-in vibromotors cause glass tremors, which is felt as sound. Manufacturers warn of the point sound of their invention. This means that the sound of the speaker will be heard only when it is directly in front of the user.

If you use Focusound as a photo frame, you can stick a calendar, photo, etc. over the glass. This does not affect the sound quality. The speaker is connected to the devices via Bluetooth or a 3.5 mm audio jack. The combination of the two Focusound gives stereo sound.

Focusound can be ordered from the Kickstarter website for $700. Delivery is promised in the coming months.
