The American company Microsoft has filed a patent application regarding a new system of monetization of games. It’s about a new way of showcasing personalized ads to gamers, according to PCMag.

The patent application says that the demonstration of advertising will be “unobtrusive” and will be held in games of different genres. At the same time, these will not be separate commercials, but a kind of analogue of product placement. Thus, advertising banners of certain brands may appear in football stimulants outside the gates, and characters can wear branded clothing with logos.

The company promises to select advertisements individually for each user. They will be shown exclusively during the game online. This will be facilitated by game consoles with an Internet connection and the “cloud” Game Pass service.

Recall that specialists from Disney have developed an artificial intelligence system, thanks to which you can visualize the appearance of actors at an older or younger age.
