Apple may unveil a new version of the operating system for watchOS 10 as early as the WWDC conference in June 2023. According to forecasts of Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman, there will be “significant changes” in the interface of the Apple Watch smartwatch.

Mark Gurman announced this in his Power On newsletter.

Gurman noted that for several years the design of watchOS has remained unchanged. He is confident that this year’s new watchOS, unlike iOS 17, will finally receive a “significant update with noticeable changes to the user interface.” It is a major update that will be relevant against the background of the absence of significant technical changes in the Apple Watch.

As for the big update of the Apple Watch, it should be expected next year. Perhaps it will affect the micro-LED display, the insider noted.
