Wikipedia got its own brand sound mark. It’s titled “The Sound of All Human Knowledge,” Wikimedia said in a blog post.

The audio logo combines the sound of turning the pages of a book, the sound of a keyboard clicking and a music signal. Its duration is four seconds.

The Wikimedia Foundation ran a contest to find an audio logo for “projects that don’t fit visual logos.” In total, more than 3000 applications were received. The victory was won by nuclear scientist Thaddeus Osborn. The award he received is $2,500.

Now the final version of the audio logo should help create a professional recording studio. Tentatively, its appearance can be expected in June this year.

You can listen to the audio logo on the Wikipedia page.
