The flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra “finishes” babies’ teeth during the “post-processing” of photos. It is reported by The Verge, citing reader complaints.

One of the contributors sent journalists photos of his seven-month-old daughter. Some of them were unprocessed, while others were applied after they applied the Photo Remastered effect, which is an element of the standard One UI image editor. In the edited photos, teeth are drawn in the child’s open mouth, which for physiological reasons cannot yet be there due to his age.

The publication writes that readers did not expect such an “improvement”, hoping to see improved brightness and clarity of the image.

Note that the marks under the nose in the small editor also automatically retouched – the same from an aesthetic point of view, the quality of the photo can still be considered improved.
