Apple has revised the direction of development of the new operating system iOS 17. This was announced by Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman in his Power On newsletter.

Previously, according to him, one could expect only a minor update, because now Apple specialists are busy working on a mixed reality headset. But the situation has changed and, according to an insider, iOS 17 is preparing to introduce several new features that users have long been waiting for.

Gurman notes that the release of iOS 17 will boast several “very nice” features. The update was codenamed “Dawn”, and its goal is to introduce several innovations that users have long dreamed of.

The announcement of iOS 17 can be expected already during the WWDC conference in June this year.

Recall, Apple has filed an application with the US Patent and Trademark Office for its invention – a display for the iPhone, which can fold when dropped and thus avoid scratches.
