Microsoft has significantly expanded the functionality of its search engine Bing. In particular, the developers have improved the capabilities of the Image Creator image generator built into the search engine and Edge chatbot. The latter was created on the basis of the DALL-E neural network from Open AI. It is reported by The Verge.

Currently, the Microsoft chatbot has three modes of communication: creative, balanced and accurate. Images will be generated only in the first mode. The chatbot can be asked to create images based on a text description. For the future image, it will be possible to choose an artistic style of performance.

The company warned that the chatbot would not create “potentially dangerous” images, but did not explain what exactly it was about.

Recall, Microsoft intends to enter the market of mobile game stores. This is what will stop the duopoly of Apple and Google in the mobile application distribution market.
