The Tinder romantic dating app has expanded with two new features. Users now have the ability to specify which monogamous or non-monogamous relationships they are looking for, as well as the chance to add their preferred gender pronouns to their account.

This was reported in the company.

The new features on Tinder come amid a drop in first-quarter revenue from parent company Tinder Match Group.

The update is associated with an increase in interest in less traditional approaches to dating. These are monogamy, ethical non-monogamy, open relationships, polyamory and “openness to research”.

The company studied 4,000 young people aged 18-25 years. According to the survey, 41% of them were in favor of non-monogamous relationships. Among them, 36% of respondents prefer open relationships, and 26% prefer hierarchical polyamory.

Pronouns on Tinder were added based on the results of the survey. Thus, 33% of respondents noted that their sexuality has become more volatile over the past three years.

You can now add up to four pronouns to your account in the app.

As a reminder, from now on, Tinder users will have the opportunity to constantly monitor their profile. The application will operate incognito browsing and enhanced security control.
