Google introduced the function of automatic archiving of applications on smartphones with Android OS. With one limitation: it will work if developers use the App bundle.

It is reported by AndroidAuthority.

Running the function will free up to 60% of the space in the device’s internal memory. Programs that you rarely use are archived. Their icon will be indicated by a cloud with a down arrow.

The company reassures that the removal of programs or personal data of the user after archiving will not occur. To use the archived application, you will need to click on its icon. The downloaded app will work without reconfiguring.

To opt out, you must press the switch in your Google Play app store settings.

Previously, the application, with which you can install the main feature of the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max on an Android smartphone, was presented by Jawomo.
