Apple’s smartphones, which will be presented in the fall of 2024, will be the largest in the history of the company. We are talking about the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max, which, according to preliminary information, will have screens with diagonals of 6.3 and 6.9 inches, respectively.

This was announced by the founder of Display Supply Chain Consultants Ross Young in his Twitter account.

The analyst noted that the currently published parameters are approximate. He promised to provide detailed information on the new aspect ratio of screens during the Display Week conference, which takes place from May 23 to 25 in Los Angeles. According to preliminary information, large iPhones will have touch buttons to control volume and power.

Over the past few years, the Pro and Pro Max smartphone models have come with screens with diagonals of 6.1 and 6.7 inches, respectively. If, according to Young, the iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a 6.9-inch matrix, it will almost catch up with the iPad Mini tablet with a diagonal of 7 inches. Then, most likely, Apple will close the line of iPad Mini tablets.

Recall that sales of the “clone” of the iPhone 14 Pro Max began in China. The gadget called i14 Pro Max runs on the Android operating system, and you can buy it for only $72.
