How to completely disable saving WhatsApp media to your gallery
- Open WhatsApp.
- Tap the “More” icon — the three vertical dots.
- Select “Settings” and tap on the “Chats” menu item.
- Deselect Media Visibility.
Stop saving media for an individual or group chat
- Open the individual or group chat you want to edit.
- Tap the “More” icon and select “View contact” or “Group info”.
- Tap Media visibility, select No, and tap OK.
