Meta’s Threads social network may soon have a post editing feature. By the way, Threads’ main competitor X (formerly Twitter) is perhaps the most criticized for its absence.

According to developer Alessandro Paluzzi, the edit button in Threads can allow you to edit posts within five minutes of publishing them.

Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri confirmed shortly after the app’s launch in July that the edit button was on the list of potential features, so it’s likely that the feature will be available soon. However, the company has not yet officially announced the start of editing.

Meta is also rolling out the ability to switch between Threads profiles on mobile devices by holding down the profile tab.

As a reminder, Threads has a citation function. To cite a post, you need to click on the icon with two arrows and then select the “cite” option.
