Google is adding the ability to react to emails with emojis.

This feature will roll out gradually, starting with Android users, then coming to the web version and iOS.

When you get access, you will see 🙂 a message at the bottom. Click on it to select an emoji from the menu, then just click and send. Multiple emojis will be able to animate full-page emojis, such as party 🎉 emojis.

This feature will be similar to how most of us use emojis to react to social media posts: you can tap and hold an existing reaction to see who added it, and tap to reuse a reaction added by another.

However, you won’t be able to use reaction emojis on your school or work accounts. They also won’t be available if the message is sent to more than 20 people.

As a reminder, in Google search, you can combine emojis yourself.
