Until recently, one of the most secure messengers, Signal, had a significant drawback, not allowing you to edit sent messages. Finally, the messenger has an editing function.

An edited message is marked as “edited”. Also, unlike Telegram or WhatsApp, interlocutors can see previous versions of sent messages. To view your edit history, click on the edit note.

Messages can be edited within 24 hours of being sent. For comparison, on WhatsApp, the editing time is 15 minutes. The feature is available to Signal users on Android 6.35, iOS 6.43, Windows, and macOS.
