The Google Chrome browser on iOS has officially moved the address bar from the top of the screen to the bottom. It will appear on phones even if you don’t install the latest updates.

However, if you want it to stay at the top, you can change it in the settings or if you hold down the bar with the line.

Google is officially adding this option a few years after Apple launched it in its own Safari browser in iOS 15. Users who are already accustomed to this arrangement say that the address bar at the bottom is more convenient for thumbs. After all, it is often used for search.

As a reminder, AI-based features are appearing in Google Maps. Among the novelties: the search for charging stations for electric vehicles and travel planning.
