Last week, several Apple Watch owners noticed that their batteries were draining much faster than usual. This happened after installing the latest version of watchOS 10.1.

Apple acknowledged the problem and promised that it would fix it in a future update. However, the date of its release was not announced.

According to Reddit, the issue affects many models, including the Watch SE and Watch Series 5 and the latest Apple Watch Ultra 2. One user noticed that his Apple Watch now runs from 100 percent to 50 percent in less than 60 minutes.

Recall that for the first time in several years, Apple introduced significant changes in the interface of the smartwatch.
