Google Chrome now shows how much storage each tab is occupying. This feature is available on Mac, Windows, ChromeOS, writes 9to5Google.

To check the memory usage, you need to hover over the tab. This feature helps you see which pages are putting the most strain on the system.

If you hover the cursor over the tab bar page, in addition to the page name and domain, a “memory usage” window will also appear there. For example, the Google homepage takes up 44 megabytes of memory.

To use the feature, you need to update your browser to the latest version.
