The owner of the ticket for the first tourist flight to the Moon announced the delay of the expedition for an indefinite period. It was scheduled for 2023.

The first planned tourist trip to the Moon is a joint project of Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa and Elon Musk’s SpaceX called dearMoon.

The launch of dearMoon into space was supposed to take place in 2023, but Maezawa said the mission “will take a little longer.”

The postponement is due to the delay in the launch of the SpaceX rocket, on which tourists were supposed to fly to the moon.

To recap, SpaceX launched its 80th orbital mission in a year.
