Microsoft has confirmed that it is bringing Copilot AI to Windows 10. It will initially be available to Windows Insider users. With the help of Copilot, it will be possible to ask AI questions, control Windows functions or interact with documents, writes Engadget.

Previously, the tool was only available on Windows 11 – the latest operating system. However, Windows 10 is still used by 69% of users, according to the company.

In 2020, Microsoft announced that the number of Windows 10 users had reached 1 billion. For comparison, Windows 11 is installed on 400 million devices.

That is why Copilot will be installed on an older version of the OS. Windows 10 Copilot will preview in North America, as well as parts of Asia and South America over the next few months.
