Mark Zuckerberg sold shares of his company to Meta Platforms Inc. for the first time in two years. Bloomberg, citing regulatory documents, reports that he earned $185 million from them.

“This is the first time since November 2021 that the entities that manage Zuckerberg’s fortune have sold shares,” the article says.

It is noted that by the end of November, Meta shares rose by 172%, ahead of the rest of the major technology companies in the United States, with the exception of Nvidia Corp, which is engaged in the manufacture of chips for AI models. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Mark Zuckerberg owns about 13% of Meta shares. His fortune is estimated at $117.7 billion.
